Granite Granite, from igneous rock, is a very hard, crystalline, and primarily composed of feldspar, quartz accompanied by one or more dark minerals. It is a dense and hardworking material that comes in a wide range of colors and textures. Granite tiles that are available in various sizes and thickness' are used for indoor and outdoor applications for flooring, cladding walls, or pavers. It is used for numerous architectural items - interior walls such as backsplashes, travertine sinks, floors, mosaic tiles, statuary, fireplace surrounds, tub surrounds, vanities, and end tables.

Slate Slate is a fine grained metamorphic stone formed from clay mud; composed of sediments of decomposed stone and organic matter that has been hardened by heat and pressure. It looks great and has plenty to offer over some of the other solid stone choices. It is a classic, upscale material that brings drama and beauty into your home. Slate tiles are often used for interior and exterior flooring, stairs, etc.
